Semarang – The Master’s Program in Nursing at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) held an Alumni Series Webinar titled “Updates and Implementation of EWS in Critical Care Nursing Services” on November 28, 2024.
The event was attended by 40 participants, including lecturers, healthcare practitioners, nurses, and students specializing in critical care nursing.
The webinar aimed to provide in-depth insights into the application of the Early Warning System (EWS) in critical care settings. EWS is a vital tool for early detection of patient condition changes, enabling prompt intervention to prevent further deterioration. With advancements in technology, EWS continues to evolve, offering more optimal outcomes for enhancing patient safety.
The keynote speaker for the webinar was Ns. Tri Yahya Christina, S.Kep., M.Kep., an alumnus of Undip’s Master’s Program in Nursing and an expert in critical care nursing. Her presentation covered the latest updates on EWS implementation and emphasized the crucial role of nurses in effectively utilizing this system in daily clinical practice within critical care units.
Participants actively engaged in the Q&A session, reflecting their eagerness to deepen their knowledge and skills in managing critical patient conditions.
